Conveniently sized tabs, these are a compressed version of the traditional pH Decreaser, sodium bisulfate, and are smaller than the standard 1 inch size. Using 1 tab per 250 gallons will lower the pH by 0.1-0.2 units. These tabs dissolve via erosion, and while they do not effervesce when placed in the spa filter compartment with jets operating, they will dissolve in just a few minutes.

It is important to note that applying the tabs directly to the footwell is not recommended as it promotes a slower dissolution experience. It is crucial to avoid leaving any undissolved material in the footwells or surfaces of the spa. If applying directly to the water, any undissolved material should be brushed away. Due to their ease of use, customers who frequently adjust pH levels may opt to dose more frequently.

However, it is essential to be aware that as with making pH adjustments using a granular pH decreaser, the total alkalinity will also drop along with the pH. This may necessitate more frequent adjustments to the total alkalinity.
